Clinical experience:

I have extensive experience in bereavement and loss, having worked in a hospice for a number of years with bereaved families.  I have been working with Mencap for many years, supporting families of children with special needs, disability and illness.

I have also worked in a GP's surgery and specialise in issues such as depression, low self-esteem, domestic violence, sexual abuse and addiction.  I also have experience of working with troubled teenagers.  

Clinical training:

I qualified from the University of Hertfordshire with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic and Person-Centred Counselling, and have  a Certificate in Bereavement Counselling. 

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethics and code of safe practice.

I have a current CRB Disclosure which allows me to work directly with children and vulnerable adults; I am also trained in Safeguarding/Child Protection and am fully insured.
